Target Group

There are three user groups that will directly benefit from the outcomes of the project:

Education policy makers

who will have something tangible to consider when they have to decide on ODL matters of ODL when new technologies are used.

Higher education providers

The introduction of ODL in the forthcoming information society of tomorrow seems both desirable and feasible. Soon, many universities will cosider introducing ODL methods in their educational programs. The results of this project will be valuable in evaluating the possibility of using the new technologies and especially hypermedia systems and computer networks, towards this goal.

The seven participating universities

that will obtain the infrastructure of a multilingual, multinational learning environment which can be used for future experimentation and exploitation of ODL.
